2020 Season is Cancelled

Hello Hart-Ransom baseball and softball parents,

The league had a video conference meeting last night. Stanislaus County baseball and softball has decided to cancel the season. The league will start again next season. Each organization within the league is now on their own with how to proceed this season. The Hart Ransom baseball board is looking into alternatives. Nothing can or will be done until the stay at home order is lifted and we may resume baseball and softball activities. Once we can get back to any activity we will then discuss what we can do. Crusaderball, Ripon, Red Shield and Patterson have expressed an interest in maybe doing a short summer league or round robin style tournament. All other organizations within the league have shut down until next year. Hart Ransom school has told us to have our port a potties picked up and there will be no baseball there this year, so we will not have fields even if we are able to get something going later in the year. If the stay at home order is lifted, hopefully we can convince the superintendent to let us use the fields we have paid for. I hope everyone is staying safe and hopefully this will be over sooner rather than later. I speak for the entire board when I say I miss baseball and softball being played right now. I miss watching the kids have fun and grow as athletes. I will keep everyone up to date as best I can but we are in a wait and see pattern just like the rest of the world.
