COVID-19 UPDATE

Hello Hart Ransom baseball and softball families,

I just had a video conference with reps from the rest of the league. All the other organizations have said they would like to still play whether it is a shortened season or an extended season. We will be having another video conference the first week of May and consider our options at that time. Your head coaches have your players uniforms. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this unprecedented time. Some parents have asked if we cancel the season will they be getting a refund. Unfortunately the answer is no. We are a nonprofit and use all the money that comes in from registration almost immediately. We have paid for uniforms, field rental, insurance, bathrooms, garbage service, stocked the snack shack and purchased game balls, practice equipment, and chalk. We simply have no money left. The rest of the season the items that come up and the umpires are paid with what our snack shake brings in along with sponsors we get. Thank you for understanding. We as a board feel horrible about this situation. Let's all hope a pray that this current crises passes and we can get back to playing baseball and softball on the near future.
